What You Get

EV Payroll Insight brings 365 Payroll data into your analytics, on its own or as an add-on to your base product:

  • EV Insight core — company and calendar dimensions from the Core capability, plus the Account and Customer conformed dimensions shared with EV Insight's Finance and Sales capabilities
  • Employee master data — comprehensive employee dimensions with seniority and age bucket classification
  • Headcount and turnover — hires, separations, turnover rate, and full-time-equivalent headcount tracking
  • Pay type analytics — analysis of payroll distributions by pay type, employee, and company
  • Absence tracking — absence code categorization and absence ledger analysis
  • GL payroll integration — payroll costs posted to the general ledger for financial reporting
  • Workforce composition — age bucket and seniority bucket segmentation for HR analytics

Two ways to use it

  • On its own — you use EV Payroll Insight for payroll only. You get the EV Insight core (company, calendar, account and customer dimensions) plus the HR and Payroll capabilities, not the full EV Insight capability set.
  • As an add-on — you add EV Payroll Insight to the base product you already have — see Products and Add-ons for the combinations. The HR and Payroll capabilities join that product's model and reports.

EV Insight Core

EV Payroll Insight builds on the EV Insight core — the Core capability from EV Insight (company and calendar dimensions), plus the Account and Customer dimensions shared with EV Insight's Finance and Sales capabilities respectively. When you use it on its own, you get these, not the full EV Insight capability set. When you add it to a base product, your base product already has them:

HR

Employee master data, headcount, hiring/turnover, and absence tracking with age and seniority segmentation. 7 dimensions and 2 facts, 34 DAX measures.

Payroll

Payroll analytics — pay type distributions, pay amount analysis, and GL payroll integration. 6 dimensions and 2 facts, 32 DAX measures.

Reports

EV Payroll Insight includes a pre-built Power BI report with 8 pages covering headcount, payroll cost, absence, and pay transparency.
