Finance¶
General ledger analysis, financial reporting with dynamic row definitions, receivables and payables aging with 18 measures each, budget management with benchmark comparison, and direct document links back to Business Central. 18 semantic model tables covering the complete BC financial landscape.
Sales¶
Sales performance analytics from invoice to credit memo level. 28 DAX measures covering invoice, credit, total, and order tracking with backlog analysis. Customer profitability with profit margin analysis. 10 semantic model tables.
Purchasing¶
Procurement analytics covering vendor spend, purchase invoices, credit memos, and open orders. 26 DAX measures with fulfillment tracking. 9 semantic model tables.
Projects¶
Job costing, project ledger analysis with 15 measures by resource type, task-level tracking with hierarchies, and planning line comparison. 6 semantic model tables.
Inventory¶
Item master data — the central product reference shared across Sales, Purchasing, and Projects. Physical and financial inventory tracking with on-hand value, turnover, and days-of-cover analytics, plus inventory aging. 21 DAX measures. 11 semantic model tables.
Core¶
Foundation dimensions shared across all capabilities: Company, Calendar, Currency, Dimensions 1–8, Data Source, and Unit of Measure. 13 dimension tables plus 3 Power BI infrastructure tables.
Reports¶
Reports for EV Insight are being rolled out — Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory are available today, with more report pages planned. The semantic model with 70 tables and 151 measures is fully operational for self-service reporting.
BC Dimensions Support¶
EV Insight supports 8 global dimensions from Business Central, with automatic pivot and mapping to analytics-ready structures. Dimension sets from transactions (GL entries, invoices, project entries) are automatically resolved and linked to dimension value hierarchies.
